TAC Summer Benefit Event 06.07.08 @ 0530 SASCO

Tucson Airsoft Coalition along with AEX is proud to announce our 1st Annual Summer Benefit event!

Prologue:
The nations of Tan and Green have long contested this arid strip of border land. Now as the summer months approach it is imperative that the area is secured and permanent buildings are erected to protect the garrison forces from the summer heat and sand storms. Time is winding down until the first wind storm hits and both sides are making a dash for it...

Join us for a special Battlefield SASCO game near the SASCO 'Alamo' on Saturday June 7th from 0530 to 1200 to benefit a local burn victim. Admission is by donation (suggested donation of $5 to $10) and 100% of proceeds go directly to this young girl who suffered severe burns over the majority of her body from an accident several years ago with pajamas that were unsafe. The proceeds will be used to help pay her admission into the TROT program (therapeutic riding of tucson). For more information on this game contact kileyhaz or boomer on the TAC forums. EVENT DETAILS
When: Saturday June 7th 2008
Time: 0530 Arrival
0600 Briefing and deployment
0630 Game begins

Where: SASCO (Eastern fields)

(shuttle service will be available from the cattle farm/wash areas from 0500 to 0530, after which private arrangements will be needed)

What: The events of the day will center around the battle field SASCO play style. 5 flags will be placed on the field and teams will fight for control of each flag. As flags are captured they will radio in the capture to control and be scored based on amount of time the flag is held and how many turn overs happen. Scores will be tallied when game play stops and the winner announced.

**Note:
Please be sure to carry all your water, ammo, and extra batteries on you since there will not be a break in the action for rest, reloading and hydration until the days events are complete. Please pass the word along, you don't want your teammates having to pull up stakes and retreat back to the staging area to reload 1/2 way through the day leaving you under staffed.

Also, please be aware that as the weather is heating up you will need to pay extra attention to your hydration levels. Bring plenty of water and make use of lulls in action to drink and make use of the little shade available in the field.

AEX has provided a few door prizes for this event. Tickets will be handed out to those that make donations of $5 or more dollars and the drawing will be held at the conclusion of the event.

Yes it is. Simply get your donation to boomer or myself. We will keep a running tally of donations up and through the event and share what the total raised amount was when its all said and done. Thanks all.
